Introduction to Alcohol Ink


WHO: Those interested in learning about working with alcohol inks. Must be over 18.

WHAT: Come and learn about the exciting new medium of Alcohol Inks. It is gaining more and more popularity as a fine art medium and quickly becoming the new medium of fluid art.

In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn about the unique properties of Alcohol Inks, and I will teach you tricks and techniques as you learn how to work with this fabulous medium. It flows like magic on the substrates and will capture and surprise you.

You will go home with an agenda of steps that with full directions so that you can do it yourself at home as well as my contact information so that you can email me after class, for any questions that you still may have.

The first part of the workshop will be about exploring the inks, and then we will make together a piece on tile, that uses an intuitive style of painting. In the second part of the workshop, we will learn how to to control the inks first on a 5x7 substrate and then onto a larger piece.

If you want to loosen up as an artist or just want to discover this medium please come join me.. its a great way to have some fun. No art experience necessary. You must be 18 years or older and be ready to have a wonderful experience.
