Painting with Color: Color as an Object

WHO: Those desiring to learn about using, making, and understanding color. No experience necessary. Ages 14 and Up.


WHAT:  Do you want to grow your practice with color in either oil or acrylic? We'll begin with the basics of color theory and the progress of creating color swatches. Through learning about our materials, we'll ultimately create two paintings that demonstrate the main principles of color theory. Paintings will either be abstract or from references you bring. All Skill Levels encouraged.

PCCO#1 - Thursday October 17th - November 21st from 1:00-3:00 pm

PCCO#2 - Thursday October 17th - November 21st from 6:15-8:15pm


WHERE:  Ice House Gallery, 609 South Blvd, Evanston


WHY: Because color is abounding and we want to understand it


MATERIALS:  Basic materials will be provided and a supply list will be provided for those who want to expand
