WHO: Those looking to gain structured feedback and discussion on original works in progress

What:  This Workshop is a great opportunity for aspiring or experienced writers to bring in their own works in progress and engage is structured critique and discussion with other writers from different backgrounds.  Each Student will have equal designated time to share and discuss their work, listen to other’s thoughts and feedback, and build a stronger draft.  We will learn and practice proper and constructive critique skills as well on day one with a published piece.   (limited space available)

When:    Meets weekly for 6 weeks

                CWCS#2 - Saturday June 22-July 27 from 10am-Noon  

CWCS#3 - Saturday Aug 3-Sept 7 from 10am-Noon  

WHERE: Ice House Gallery Studios, 609 South Blvd, Evanston

WHY: Because it is difficult to find good, constructive, and focused feedback on our writing

COST: $110, includes all basic materials

Instructor: Hannah Litvan

Materials: Students should have works from 100 words to ten double spaced pages OR excerpts (10 double-spaced pages) from their longer works in progress. Excerpts need to be accompanied with a one-page summary on greater story/piece.   Will be asked to email prior to first class.
