Call for Local Student Art

 “What’s Next” is highlighting up-and-coming student artists. This show will give young, emerging artists an opportunity to showcase in an established gallery, grow their following and sell their creations. Student art is important to show, see, and sell because it gives new artist opportunity while showcasing new ideas, techniques and styles into the art and art buyer world. Supporting local, new artists allows the art community to grow and succeed in the future.

 Ice House Gallery is looking for local and Chicagoland area artists currently enrolled in art programming at the High School, Undergraduate and Graduate levels. “What’s Next” opens Saturday, January 12th, and runs through April 27th. Art turn-in being the weekend of January 5th and pick up being April 28th.

 We are looking for finished, display and sale ready pieces to be sold on consignment at a 55/45% split in the artist’s favor. All mediums welcome: painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media etc.

 If you are interested in being part of this show, send your website or portfolio of the specific work for consideration to 

 Submissions begin October 1, 2018 and run through November 3, 2018. After all submission are received and reviewed, artists will be notified of their acceptance. We will send you our consignment agreement for review.
